Our Story
QC Tool Swap was founded with a simple observation: most power tools sit idle in garages and sheds for the majority of their lives. Meanwhile, neighbors who need those same tools for a weekend project either have to buy expensive equipment they'll rarely use or go without.
We saw an opportunity to bring neighbors together, reduce waste, and make home improvement projects more accessible to everyone in the Quad Cities community. What started as a small idea has grown into a platform that connects tool owners with neighbors who need them.
Today, QC Tool Swap is operated by River Basin Holdings LLC and serves communities across Davenport, Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline, and East Moline. We're proud to be building stronger neighborhoods, one tool share at a time.
